*This is a working list of writing projects in all stages of completion and in no particular order.

  • Dark Tales – Dark Fantasy story book written in the style of a demented Mother Goose anthology.
  • The Change – Paranormal Romance about a coming-of-age shifter in Sacramento, California.
  • Velvet Sheets - Contemporary Romance about a musician taking a last shot to achieving her dream. (Cheesy title to be changed) 
  • A Soul Misplaced – Paranormal Romance about a woman’s soul transplanted into a man’s body.
  • Twin Blazes – Fantasy about a world of elves and a cousin race where the balance between the two are threatened from all sides.

Up and Coming: 

Title: The Jester’s Wife

Genre:  Fantasy Romance

“He is only known as The Hand, a personal slave and assassin to the king.  By day, he’s the king’s court jester.  By night, he’s a dark hunter in a world of shadows.  But he loves a woman he could never have as he’s bound by his dark destiny only death can stop.

She’s a lowly servant with a powerful secret: she possesses the rarest ability of her people to shape forms into another person.  Bound by the princess, she serves her duty as a decoy to protect her from hostile neighbors.  But serving the princess ends up costing more than her identity when she falls for the mysterious man cloaked in shadow.”

 

Title: A Special Case

Genre: Urban Fantasy

Written: 2008 with approx. 50,250 words

Revisions: In progress.  Currently in 2nd Draft status.

“Amy is the hottest new radio persona in Buffalo, New York.  That is, if you are among the night owls who enjoy listening to the all-night request line.

Amy works for a dying station whose dust-covered platform consists of oldies classics.  Among her growing list of admirers is an over-worked, obsessive-compulsive detective and a little girl by the name of Brandy.

When Brandy mysteriously dies, her ghost visits Amy for help.  Can Amy come to terms with her new-found contact with the spirit world enough to help solve the case of the girl’s murder and not become a suspect at the same time?”

Title: Death Can Wait

Genre: Urban Fantasy

Written: 2009 with 51,530 words

Revisions: Not begun.

“After years of torment, Jo-Anna “Jo” Pruitt is packing up her meager possessions and leaving behind her abusive father, fanatically ignorant mother, and, unfortunately her baby sister.

Worried about abandoning her sister, she promises herself she will come back to get her.  But when Death interrupts her plans and comes to claim her, Jo makes a deal with him.

He can have her, but only after she makes sure her sister is well cared for.”
